Es artista del papel marmoleado. Nació en Izmir y sigue viviendo en esta ciudad de Turquía. Se graduó en la Facultad de Economía. Comenzó a estudiar el papel marmoleado en el taller de Serkan İLDEN en 2006. Descubrió el mundo cautivador del papel marmoleado y decidió construir su carrera en esta actividad. En 2007, con tres amigas más fundó "la Ebrizmir Ebrû Society" a fin de introducir el papel marmoleado turco en el mundo. Ha participado en varias exposiciones en Turquía y en el extranjero.

Entró “en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Izmir Dokuz Eylul” en 2012 a fin de hacer un estudio académico de bellas artes.

Sigue trabajando y enseñando el papel marmoleado en su taller. Con sus trabajos, Yesim Goktepe usa técnicas de bellas artes así como también la técnica y la estética del papel marmoleado tradicional.

She’s a paper marbling artist. She was born in Izmir and still lives in Izmir-TURKEY.  She was graduated in Economy Faculty. She started to study paper marbling in Serkan İLDEN atelier in 2006. She discovered the enthralling world of paper marbling and decided to build her career on it. In 2007, with three more friends founded the "Ebrizmir Ebru Society" in order to introduce the Turkish paper marbling to the world. She attended various exhibitions in Turkey and abroad.

She entered “Izmir Dokuz Eylul University Fine Arts Faculty” in 2012 in order to make an academic study on fine arts.

She continues to work and teach paper marbling in her workshop. In her works, Yesim Goktepe uses fine arts techniques as well as preserving traditional paper marbling techniques and esthetic.
