Marmoleado caligráfico / Calligraphic marbling

El marmoleado caligráfico, o Yazili Ebrû, reproduce uno de los usos más antiguos del papel marmoleado, empleándolo como fondo para realzar las inscripciones o cartelas. Todas las obras de esta sección están realizadas con la técnica de plantillas y reservas, con la que se obtienen bordes muy nítidos y se obtiene una caligrafía completamente legible. Todos son modelos Ebrûlu Akasse o de dos tonos, la caligrafía se lee en uno de ellos mientras que el resto del papel lleva los dos; salvo la inscripción Ebrû, realizada por Christopher Weimann, un Akasse Ebrû en el que la caligrafía se lee en el color del papel.

Calligraphic marbling, or Yazili Ebrû, reproduces one of the most ancient uses of marbled papers, using them as a background to enhance the calligraphic inscriptions. All the works in this section are made by the technique of resist and stencils, with which are obtained very clear edges and a completely legible calligraphy appears. They all are Ebrûlu Akasse or two tones patterns, the calligraphy is read in one of them while the rest of the paper takes the other; except the inscription Ebrû, made by Christopher Weimann, an Akasse Ebrû, the calligraphy is read in the colour of the paper.
